Ice Climbing 301: Steep Ice & Mixed Climbing

March 10, 2016

Way In The Wilderness

Ice Climbing 301 tackles steeper and longer routes; some of which require the development of mixed climbing technique (a valuable skill for any winter climber).  Classic winter testpiece routes like Dracula, Repentance, The Last Gentleman and The Black Dike offer the challenges required to push your abilities even further.  Multi-pitch rappelling, V-Thread construction and anchor management are all skills that guest will fine-tune during the day. If you have a specific route on your ticklist, this is your chance for an attempt at it.
