Once you have a solid understanding of the basics of winter climbing, its time to move into bigger (and steeper) terrain.  In this course, you can expect to fine-tune your movement over ice technique, all while sampling some of the finest routes the east has to offer.  We will venture into multi-pitch terrain, and gain experience with ice screw placements and anchor construction.  Ice evaluation, equipment selection, and rope management are also all important skills that you will walk away with.
