Rock Climbing 201

Rock Climbing 201 is our intermediate level climbing day.  In this course, guests leave the comfort of the ground for a multi-pitch climbing experience.  Guests will experience what it is like to be an active part of a climbing team, working together to achieve a common goal.  Belay transitions, removing “gear” from a pitch, rope management, and other skills are covered.

Guide to Guest ratio: 1:3

Where:  Generally at one of the many sites within the White Mountains of New Hampshire.  Specific location information will be determined upon booking. Popular areas include Cathedral Ledge and Whitehorse Ledge.

Time: 1 Day, 8:30am-4:30pm

Cost: $125 per person (minimum of 3 person enrollment for class to run).  OR Book a Private Course and have the flexibility of your own date, time and material covered.

Equipment: We provide harnesses, helmets, climbing shoes and all necessary hardware.  You are responsible for your own food, water, and appropriate clothing.  See our recommended equipment list for details.

Not Included: Food, lodging and transportation is not included.

What Next:  Guests are welcomed to take the Rock 201 Course as many times as they feel necessary to be comfortable with the multi-pitch terrain.  Most guest will be ready to go on to take the Rock 301 advanced level course; where we attempt to tackle one of the area’s classic big routes in a day.
